A lovely Drive up to the Foresters Arms from Flowery Dell Lodges

The Foresters Arms is a Grade II listed property, located in the picturesque village of Carlton-in-Coverdale in the North Yorkshire Dales. Nestled under the peaks of Roova Crags and Penhill, Carlton is only six miles from Leyburn and is set within The Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Named after the Foresters Friendly Society, this 250-year-old inn is a welcome rest for the weary traveller. A Community owned pub managed by Paul & Diana who were very welcoming.

We enjoyed a burger with all the trimmings which was very filling and washed down with a lovely pint.
